As we know the printer with heating function which can cure 40-50% white ink before the film enter into powder machine. And then you will set up the thermostat temperature to 110~140℃,under this condition the powder will be melt as a primer, then there will be 30~40% water remaining in the white ink (between the PET film and powder primer). The inside water may produce water bubble or blister after condensation.

DTF white ink has an ingredient we call humectant. Its function is to prevent print head clogging. The main ingredient of humectants is glycerin. Glycerin is a transparent, odorless, thick liquid. It can absorb moisture from the air. Therefore, glycerin is a good moisturizer. Glycerol is miscible with water and ethanol, and its aqueous solution is neutral. At the same time, glycerin does not react with other components in DTF White ink, thus affecting the quality of the ink. Because of its physical properties, glycerin cannot be dried. If the drying process is insufficient, glycerin will appear on the DTF transfer film after a period of time. And it will look greasy.

Sublimation is a chemical process. In simple(r) terms, it is where a solid turns into a gas, immediately, without passing through the liquid stage in between. When questioning what is sublimation printing, it helps to realize that it refers to the dye itself. We also call this dye-sublimation, as it is the dye that changes state.
